The beginnings of the 90s are marked by constant travels of the artist through the Mediterranean region. Baldessarini travelled to Istanbul and the interior of Turkey, to Morocco, as well as to Prague and London and several times to southern Italy. This creative period is characterized by light-flooded, with a fine structure interspersed works that show a sensitive chromaticism and two-dimensional abstraction. Furthermore, the painter deals with classical motifs as well as still lifes.
